Go Fund Me Page Set Up for Trooper Carns

A Go Fund Me Page has been set up to assist the family of an Illinois State Trooper who was struck and killed on I-55 while clearing debris from the roadway in Channahon Monday night.  35 year old Trooper Clay Carns of Orland Park was stuck by a vehicle driven by 69 year old John Fleet of Wilmington. Carns died at the hospital.  Fleet has been charged with violating the state’s Scott’s Move Over Law.  The Go Fund Me page has a goal of 250,000 dollars. Carns leaves behind a wife and two young children, ages three and two.
