Benton County has Fun with a Scammer

The Benton County Indiana Sheriff’s office recently had a little fun with a scammer making calls to residents saying they needed to call the office and speak with George Brockman on a serious legal matter then left a return phone number.  The message was shared with the Sheriff’s office and they called the scammer back.  The call went to voicemail where the sheriff’s office left their number asking him to call them because they don’t have anybody by that name in the department.  They say they’re still waiting for the return call.
