Guilty Plea to Aggravated Battery

A Shorewood man has been sentenced to spend five months in the Grundy County Jail after pleading guilty in Grundy County Court to aggravated battery in a public place. 40 year old Gregory Jerrett will also have to serve two and a half years’ probation.  Jerrett punched a man in the face back in April at a bar and restaurant East of South Wilmington in East Brooklyn. The victim suffered a concussion in the incident.
