Winter Storm Update

While folks around the area got up this morning to about one to two inches of new snow on the ground, it certainly could have been worse. Unofficial reports have about four inches of snow in Champaign and as much as seven inches of snow falling in downstate Illinois in places like Mattoon and Springfield. A winter storm warning remains in effect until noon today as close to us as Champaign with more snow expected through the central part of the state today and an ice storm in far southern Illinois.
