Manhattan Man Waves 7 Inch Long Knife

A Manhattan man was arrested over the weekend after making threats while waving a seven inch long knife.  It happened in New Lenox Saturday morning. Police allege 31 year old Thomas Charles of Manhattan turned up at a home on Andrea Drive and told the resident that they were next  while waving the knife in the air. Police say the resident has an order of protection against Charles who at first tried to evade police when they attempted to pull him over.  Charles was eventually arrested without incident.  Police say they did find the seven inch long knife in the vehicle.
