A Rensselaer man is facing multiple charges after allegedly being in possession of a pound of Methamphetamine. Rensselaer Police say 47 year old Brandon Molden initially failed to pull over for a routine traffic stop and when he did finally stop, officers say he appeared to be nervous. A Jasper County K9 was brought in and sniffed out the meth along with a 12 game shotgun. In addition to drug and weapon charges, Molden is also facing charges of attempted escape after officers say he tried to kick out a window in a squad car.
