End of Year Grundy County Coroner’s Report Released

The Grundy County Coroner’s office has released its year-end report for 2024.  County Coroner John Callahan reports 375 deaths last year, 343 were natural.  Six people in Grundy County died in gun related incidents, three were killed in fires, five people died in traffic accidents, six in falls and two lost their lives from heat or cold conditions. 8 people took their own lives in 2024.
