During this morning’s meeting of the Kankakee County Board’s Criminal Justice Committee, County Coroner Bob Gessner gave committee members a brief rundown of 2024 statistics for his office. Gessner said his office handled 13-hundred-and-2 total calls last year
Gessner said about 60 percent of people that die in Kankakee County are cremated.
