Shots Fired in Kankakee

Kankakee police were called to an alley off West Mertens street yesterday afternoon for a report of shots being fired.  Upon arrival a woman told officers she saw a car in the alley driving recklessly from her kitchen window with the driver firing a gun out the driver’s side window.  A neighbor tells police he also heard the shots and saw the vehicle driving away.  There were no injuries and no damage was reported, police are investigating.
