Flood Warning at Momence Continues

The National Weather Service River Flood Warning for the Kankakee River at Momence continues today.  The warning was issued Monday after an ice jam began forming last week.   As of this afternoon the water is holding just over six feet at Momence.  Flood stage is five feet.  The National Weather Service predicts the water level to hold at 6 feet into the weekend.
