Groundbreaking to be held for East River Walk project

A groundbreaking ceremony will be held this afternoon for the East Riverwalk project in the City of Kankakee. After last night’s Kankakee City Council Meeting, Mayor Chris Curtis talked about the event

The groundbreaking is scheduled for 4:30 this afternoon. Curtis said the hope is to have the  project completed by sometime around Thanksgiving of this year.
