Romantic Meeting Ends in Domestic Abuse Arrest

A woman who has an active Kankakee County order of protection against a Joliet man, called police after he allegedly slapped and choked her at a Joliet hotel Saturday night.  Prosecutors allege the two had met for a sex when she tells police she took a phone call from a caller who 56 year old Tamolus Jackson of Joliet does not like. She goes on to say he then slapped her three times across the face. According to court documents, when the woman began to call the police, Jackson allegedly grabbed the phone and threw it against a wall and threatened to kill her.  He then  held her against a wall, choking her until she couldn’t breathe.  Jackson is facing charges of aggravated domestic battery, domestic battery and unlawful violation of an order of protection.
