During this morning’s meeting of the Kankakee County Board’s Executive Committee, Veteran’s Assistance Commission Superintendent Eric Peterson told the committee the Federal VA recently released their 2024 National Suicide Prevention report
Peterson said his organization is putting more effort into getting out into the county this year to make sure they can help area veterans, even if they can’t make it in to the VAC offices in Bourbonnais.
