Village of Bourbonnais add park land

Village of Bourbonnais Trustees voted last night to add more park land to the Village. During last night’s Village Board meeting, trustees held both readings of an ordinance to add a little over six-and-a-half acres of wooded land to Riverfront Park. Mayor Paul Schore explains

Schore said now that the park is being expanded, Village residents will be asked what they’d like to see done at Riverfront Park

Schore said the donation adds about 600 feet of additional river frontage to Riverfront Park. He added he expects planning for usage of the park will start again sometime in the spring.
