Two Killed in Rt.45 North Crash

Two people were killed and four were taken to the hospital following an accident involving a garbage truck and two other vehicles this morning on Rt. 45 between Rt. 52 and Offner Road.  State police have not yet released any details on the crash.  Rt. 45 remains closed in both directions from Rt 52. to  Monee Manhattan Road this afternoon because of the wreck.  Google maps reports it may not reopen until midnight.
