Sheriff’s department investigates after storage unit broken in to

Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police are investigating after a storage unit was broken into  on South Kensington Avenue sometime over the last month. According to reports, deputies were called to the storage unit just before 10:30 Thursday morning, when the renter of the unit went to check her belongings and noticed three TV’s were missing. According to the victim, she’d put her things in storage in early December and hadn’t returned to the unit until yesterday. When she got there, she found the unit still locked, but noticed her things had been rummaged through and the TV’s were missing.
