The Iroquois County Natural Hazards Mitigation Plan has been wrapped up. Iroquois County Emergency Management Agency Coordinator Scott Anderson says the plan has been a long time in the works.
Anderson talks about the information covered by the plan
The plan will go on display starting February 13th and there will be a two-week period for comments from the public about any changes that should be made to the plan before it’s submitted to the State for approval, Anderson says once the plan’s in place, it will be about five years before the process starts again.
