During last night’s Kankakee City Council meeting, Aldermen heard from Nicole Gavin, Executive Director of Visit Kankakee County, the local convention and visitor’s bureau about tourism in the county last year
Gavin said that among events drawing visitors was the return of the Kankakee River Regatta
Mayor Chris Curtis said he was glad to hear from the Visitor’s Bureau
This year’s regatta is scheduled for Labor Day weekend, Saturday August 31st and Sunday September 1st.
