Manteno Man Wanted in Limestone Shooting Arrested in Iowa

A Manteno man wanted on charges of attempted murder in Kankakee County has been arrested in Iowa.   It was on January 27th that Kankakee County Sheriff’s investigators allege that 24 year old Gregory R. Tuggle forced his way into a Limestone home at 2500 West Rt. 17 and shot a 19 year old multiple times.  The victim remains hospitalized in Chicago.  Tuggle is charged with Attempted First Degree Murder, Home invasion and Aggravated Battery with a firearm.  Tuggle remains in Iowa for now where he now also faces local charges.
