During this morning’s meeting of the Kankakee County Board’s Executive Committee, County Health Department Administrator John Bevis gave the committee a year-end review of activities by the Health Department in 2024. Among the items Bevis reported on his department’s efforts to fight opioid overdose deaths in the county
Bevis highlighted some of the things his department has done in an effort to quell overdose deaths
Bevis added the grant for the program is a regional one, so the outreach includes not only Kankakee County, but Iroquois, Kendall and Grundy Counties as well
