Paxton Man Arrested for Witness Tampering

A Paxton man has been arrested after investigators say he allegedly tried to intimidate a witness in the trial of another man who is charged with aggravated battery.   According to the Ford County Chronicle, 39 year old Alex J. Riblet was allegedly instructed by 33 year old Jerome S. Burkes of Paxton to intimidate the witness into changing a statement and testimony in connection with a battery that took place in December in the 800 block of South High Street.
