Bourbonnais District 53 Numbers Top 100 Improvement in the Country Since Covid

Bourbonnais Elementary School District 53 is ranked among 100 districts across the county that are performing higher today than before the pandemic hit.  The survey of 8,700 school districts was a joint effort between Harvard and Stanford University’s and Dartmouth College.  According to the Daily Journal an example of the improvement can be found in the district’s math and reading numbers. Both were being the national averages pre-pandemic and both were higher than the national average today.
