Woman Arrested for Shooting Death of Estranged Husband

Rensselaer police today report the arrest of a 71 year old Rensselaer woman in the shooting death of her estranged husband.  The victim, identified as 71 year old Phil Nagel was found dead inside his home in the 700 block of Milroy on February 17^th following a welfare check requested by friends.  Police say their investigation lead to 71 year old Stephanie Nagel and following a search of her home, Nagel was arrested on preliminary charges of murder, burglary and stalking
