Fatal Accident Victim from Coal City

We have the name now of the man who was killed in an accident over the weekend near Gardner  83 year old Eugene Bianchetta of Coal City was a passenger in a pickup truck being driven by a driver  under the age of 18 when it collided with a second pickup truck.  Grundy County Sheriff’s police say the crash happened Sunday afternoon at East Scully and South Gorman.  Police say the driver of one of the trucks, an 18 year old Kankakee man, believed the victims truck who was southbound on Gorman was about to stop at what is an uncontrolled intersection, he did not and the two collided.  Bianchetta later died at the hospital.  Both drivers were also hospitalized with unspecified injuries.
