Harris Trial Date Set

Accused killer Xandia Harris was in Kankakee County Court today.  The 29 year old Harris along with co-defendant Darius Sullivan were charged with the murder of Bradley Police Sgt. Marlene Ritmanic and the wounding of Sgt. Tyler Bailey in December of 2021.  Sullivan was found guilty last year and was sentenced to life. The Daily Journal reports that Harris has opted for a bench trial.  It’s scheduled for May 1st.
