It’s the weekend for local law enforcement officers to “take the plunge” to help Special Olympics. The annual Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge will take place Saturday at Manteno Lake. Detective Dan Lengel is Special Olympics coordinator for the Manteno Police Department
Detective Lengel says his department has raise somewhere around 17-hundred dollars for the event. He says there’s still time to donate which you can do online through the Manteno Police Department Facebook page or you can donate in-person on Saturday.
