The Bourbonnais Police Department had a little different take on this year’s Polar Plunge. This past weekend Bourbonnais Police rode a “slip and slide” down the hill at “The Grove” to raise money for Special Olympics Illinois. Bourbonnais Police Chief Dave Anderson says the first of its kind event was a success
Chief Anderson said the event raised just over 34-hundred dollars for Special Olympics Illinois, but there is still time to donate through the Police Department website.
