Caught Red Handed in Benton County

This morning, the Benton County Sheriff’s Office responded to 1000 E. and 200 N. Roads where a blue Chevy Trailblazer was caught loading fuel tanks on DNR property.  A deputy allegedly found a man and woman with three above-ground fuel tanks loaded onto a trailer hitched to the vehicle. Authorities suspect this could be linked to other thefts from barns and tool sheds in the area. If you’re missing items, call Benton County Sheriff’s police at 765-884-0080 to report it.
