Grant Park FireFighters Pull Occupant from Burning Home

Grant Park Firefighters rescued the elderly occupant of a burning home near 17,600 East and 10,500 North Roads this afternoon.  According to the Chicagoland Fireground Facebook page, the home was heavily involved in flames when fire personnel arrived on the scene.  An ambulance was requested, but we do not know the condition of the victim.  A brush fire was also reported at the same location.
