Jasper County Deputies arrest Wheatfield man on child sex charges

Jasper County Indiana Sheriff’s Police report the arrest of a 23-year-old Wheatfield man on child sex charges. In a press release, Jasper County Deputies say they arrested Xavier L Newbury last Friday night in connection with an investigation that started last September, where Newbury was accused of sexually assaulting a juvenile on at least five different occasions. Newbury is being held in the Jasper County lock-up on charges that include child molestation, rape, confinement and sexual misconduct with a minor.
