Some heavy weather moved through the area, bringing with it high winds, a lot of rain, hail and at least one tornado warning for Kankakee County. The tornado sirens were triggered just after 5:30 last night when the National Weather Service noticed rotation in storm clouds in the southeastern corner of the county. So far there have been no reports of any tornado touch-downs, but there was at least one report of dime-sized hail during the storm.
