Wilmington Road Closure

 The City of Wilmington Police Department reminds residents that Murphy Road will be closed from the West I-55 Frontage Road to Kavanaugh Road starting Wednesday. In a Facebook post the department says the closure is necessary for infrastructure improvements related to the extension of Elion Boulevard and is expected to last the duration of construction season. They say that the portion of Murphy Road west of Kavanaugh Road will still remain accessible from Kavanaugh Road.
