The Veteran’s Assistance Commission of Kankakee County will be at the Kankakee Public Library again tomorrow, helping local Veteran’s get connected with the services they need. Ashley Appleton is the Commission’s Senior Veteran Services Officer and she tells us just a few of the services available to local vets
Appleton adds the VAC is there to help when making your way through the system might seem overwhelming
Appleton says they’ll be on the third floor of the library from nine tomorrow morning until three in the afternoon. Veteran’s should take along their DD2-14 when they visit the VAC.
