Y announces new CEO

The Kankakee Area YMCA has a new CEO. In a press release, the Y announced late last week that David Parker has been named the new CEO of the organization. Parker comes to the Kankakee Area YMCA with nearly 12 years of experience, having recently served as the Regional Executive director with the organization in Columbia Oregon. David Parker takes over for Will Welsh who stepped down from the position July 31st.
