Indiana to expand?

Indiana could grow by the 33 counties that have voted to leave Illinois under a bill that’s been sent to Governor Braun.  The legislation would call for a study on absorbing the counties.  The Illinois counties have approved an “advisory referenda” to leave the state since 2020.  House Minority Leader Phil GiaQuinta called the bill a “publicity ploy.”
