Number of jobs increase in IL in March

The number of jobs in Illinois is reaching historic levels.  The state Department of Employment Security says non farm payroll jobs increased almost 15-thousand last month to a record high of nearly six-point-two million.  That beat the previous record set last December.  The unemployment rate remained unchanged at four-point-eight-percent in March.
