Kankakee Police make robbery arrests

Kankakee Police have arrested two people thought to be tied to separate robberies in the city earlier this week. In a press release, the robberies Monday and Tuesday of this week on West Jeffery and West Station Streets. Detectives tracked down the suspects Wednesday, and the two were arrested without incident. One is a juvenile; the other is 18-year-old Nefertini Griffin. Charges are pending with the State’s Attorney’s Office.
