Fatal Crash in Beecher

A traffic crash in Beecher over the weekend killed a Beecher man. Illinois State Police say it was just before noon Friday when the crash between a semi, a pickup and a passenger car happened on Route 1, north of Eagle Island Road in Beecher. Will County Coroner Laurie H Summers says that crash took the life of 47-year-old Hollis Weller. State Police say another person was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries. Troopers continue to investigate the crash.
