Child porn arrest in Beecher

Will County Sheriff’s Police say they’ve arrested a 49-year-old Beecher man on child pornography charges. In a Facebook post, deputies say Jasen N. Zurisk’s arrest Monday followed an investigation that started back in January after Oak Lawn Police contacted the Will County Sheriff’s Office regarding tips they had received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. On March 4th a search warrant was executed at Zurisk’s residence which resulted in the seizure of multiple electronic devices. Subsequently, on April 29, 2025, an arrest warrant was issued for Zurisk and he was arrested by Merrillville Indiana Police. He was held at the Lake County Jail in Indiana until his extradition to Will County on Monday. Zurisk faces six counts of child pornography.
