Memorial Day flag placement

The Veteran’s Assistance Commission of Kankakee County is looking for help to place flags on the graves of veterans over the next couple of days. They’ll start at eight this morning at Mount Calvary Cemetery on Court Street and once they finish they’ll move on to Mound Grove Cemetery on Brookmont Boulevard. Friday morning at eight they’ll be placing flags on veterans graves at Memorial Gardens on Route 17 east of Kankakee. You can contact the VAC if you have any questions.
