Crete man arrested for sexual assault

A Crete man has been arrested for the alleged sexual assault of a minor.  According to a press release, 32 year old Trevon L. Gunn of Crete was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals Tuesday in Markam for allegedly sexually assaulting a juvenile under the age of 13 between 2023 and 2025 in Crete. Gunn was transported to the Will County Detention Facility and has been charged with two counts of predatory criminal sexual assault of a victim under 13 among other charges.
