Shots were reportedly fired in Kankakee

Shots were reportedly fired in Kankakee early this morning. According to city police reports, officers were alerted of shots fired in the area of 200 North Greenwood Avenue via ShotSpotter just before 12:30 this morning. When officers arrived, six spent shell casings were located in the West Alley behind 200 North Greenwood. No damage was found and there’s no suspects at this time.
