Aqua IL issues warning

Recent rainfall combined with spring fertilization of fields has led Aqua Illinois to issue an alert for elevated levels of nitrates in the drinking water. In a pres release, Aqua Illinois says the elevated levels of nitrites could be dangerous for infants under six  months old and should also be avoided by pregnant women. They suggest you use bottled water if you fall into those categories and they have bottled water available at one-thousand South Schuyler Avenue in Kankakee, 1737 East Amberstone Road in Manteno and at 24650 South Western Avenue in University Park.
