Man allegedly robbed in Kankakee

Kankakee City Police report a robbery in the city Sunday.  According to reports, it was just after 5:30 Sunday evening when officers called by a man who said he’d been at a gas station in the 100 block of West Court Street Sunday morning when he was approached by two women asking for a ride. He said he gave them a ride and they asked him to stop at a parking lot in the 16-hundred block of East Cobb Boulevard so they could use the bathroom. The victim told police that after the women got out of the car, a car pulled into the parking lot and a masked man got out of the car, pulled a gun and told the man to give him everything he had. The man said he gave the man a watch and bracelet and they took off.
