Man arrested after breaking into Grant Park home

Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police report an arrest after a man was allegedly caught inside a Grant Park home Friday evening. According to reports, the home owner returned home just before seven Friday night and found Samuel C. Lian of Indianapolis in his living room eating cereal. The home owner reportedly grabbed a butcher knife and held Lian until deputies arrived. Lian allegedly climbed through a window to enter the house. He was arrested by Deputies for residential burglary.
