House Fire on Bradley’s East Side

A house fire took place early this morning on Bradley’s east side. According to Bradley Interim Fire Chief Jim Spoon, firefighters were called to a fire at a home in the 1000 block of Mallard Drive around 12:30 this morning. It appeared the fire started in the garage and began working its way into the home. It took about two and a half hours to put out the blaze. It was determined the fire was caused by a Segway scooter and e-bike charging inside the garage. Estimated damage is around 100 hundred thousand dollars. No injuries were reported.
