Hit and Run in Rensselaer Being Investigated

Jasper County Sheriff’s Police are asking for your help in locating a person allegedly involved in a hit and run that happened in Rensselaer this morning. According to a press release, the hit and run happened around 8:30 this morning near the intersection of Clark Street and Jefferson Street in Rensselaer. A picture of the man police believe to be involved in the incident can be seen on the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page. They ask that you do not approach the man if you see him but to contact law enforcement instead immediately.
