Kankakee East Riverwalk Mussels Relocated

All the endangered mussels along the bank of the Kankakee East Riverwalk project have been successfully relocated to the other side of the river. The news was confirmed on the Currents of Kankakee Facebook page today. If you care to guess just how many mussels were found and relocated, you can visit the Currents of Kankakee booth at the Farmers Market this Saturday morning to place a guess between five and five hundred. The person with the most accurate number will receive Farmers Market and Riverwalk Prizes.
