Barn Burglary Near Herscher Over The Weekend

Kankakee County Sheriff’s Police report a burglary to a barn in rural Herscher over the weekend. According to reports, deputies were called to the barn just before noon Saturday by a man who said he’d left the building about five Friday night and when he returned Saturday the barn and a couple of vehicles inside the barn had been ransacked. The owner said he didn’t think anything had been taken. Deputies continue to investigate the break-in.
