Chicago Man Arrested Gardner for Alleged Vehicle Theft

A Chicago man was arrested in Gardner Friday for allegedly stealing an SUV out of Bloomington, IL. According to a press release from the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, Deondre Logan was arrested around 3:30 Friday Morning on Strip Mine Road after a hot pursuit that started on I-55 near mile marker 226. Logan was taken into custody after he drove the allegedly stolen white 2015 Ford Explorer into a ditch. Logan has been charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle among several other charges.
